The Holy Spirit woke me up with this statement:
"Faith is a force, an energy that can create, multiply, and change the chemical structure and DNA of people and things!"
As I prayed into this revelation, He told me to meditate on these particular miracles:
The woman with the issue of blood (Matthew 9, Mark 5, Luke 8)
The multiplication of the fish and the bread (Matthew 14, Mark 6, Luke 9, John 6)
Jesus turning the water into wine (John 2:1)
Hebrews 1:11
11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
The word SUBSTANCE in the Strong's means:
* that which has actual existence
* a substance, real being
* the substantial quality, nature, of a person or thing
Faith is the materialization of what we firmly believe. It is the proof of things not seen. Things that have already been accomplished by Jesus. Things that are already there, but cannot be seen by our physical eyes.
Every time that a miracle occurred in the Bible, faith produced a conviction, then an action was performed and a manifestation happened. It didn't have to necessarily be a spoken word, just like the woman with the issue of blood.
Matthew 9:20-21
20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. 21 She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”
She told herself that if she touched the edge of his cloak, she would be healed.
She brought into existence her own healing, by speaking it and following that belief with and action. She placed a demand on the power of Jesus. Jesus didn't even know she was there and that she needed healing, until she touched Him. She pulled the healing power out of Jesus with her faith!
That power that came out of Jesus is The Power of The Holy Spirit, which is in us too!
Romans 8:11
11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
The word "power" in this passage is the Greek word Dunamis, which is the root word for dynamite.
Dunamis is not just any power; the word often refers to miraculous power or marvelous works.
Inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth.
This power can only be manifested and accessed by faith, which in turn will materialize what we are believing for.
FAITH= CONVICTION-->ACTION--->MANIFESTATION!
Luke 8
And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. 44 She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.
45 “Who touched me?” Jesus asked.
When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.”
46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.”
47 Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. 48 Then he said to her,
“Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”
She wasn't healed because she touched Jesus's cloak, there were people all around Him touching Him, and I'm sure some of them needed healing, but The Word only mentions her healing. She was healed because she believed that if she touched Him, she would be healed! Her faith healed her, her expectation of the manifestation of what she believed healed her! She told herself: " I will be healed! If I only touch His cloak!" Then she followed that proclamation with an action, and she appropriated herself of her healing! Jesus didn't have to will it, didn't have to speak, He wasn't even aware of the woman until power came out of Him!
Jesus Has brought every sickness and disease on that cross, by His stripes, we ARE healed! It has already been done! It is finished! He Has done it all! It is up to us to believe and take that healing! Appropriate ourselves of what He Has already accomplished for us on that cross!
We don't have to wonder: "Is it Jesus's will to heal me?"
Jesus healed EVERYONE! The only time He wasn't able to perform great miracles, was in His own hometown because of the people's unbelief. Isn't it incredible, that with our unbelief we can actually limit what God can do??
Matthew 6:5-6
5 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.6 And He marveled because of their unbelief.
In the multiplication of the bread and fish, Jesus told the disciples to feed the weary, hungry people.
Matthew 14:7-
17 And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”
18 He said, “Bring them here to Me.” 19 Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples gave to the multitudes. 20 So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. 21 Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
Jesus told the disciples to bring Him what they had, He simply looked up to Heaven, thanked The Father for the food, and gave it to the disciples to distribute to the people.
No loud prayer, no complicated routine. He spoke, they obeyed and acted, and thousands of people were fed as a result. THE FOOD WAS MULTIPLIED. You see, the provision was already there, all we need is already there, all we need to do is believe it in our heart, act upon that word and that which we need will manifest in the natural.
FAITH= CONVICTION--->
ACTION--->MANIFESTATION!
Finally the miracle of Cana.
John 2:1-10
His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”
6 Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. 7 Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it. 9 When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. 10 And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!”
Jesus gave a word, the servants obeyed, the water was turned into amazing wine!
From H2O to C12 H14 O3 in an instant! Not just any wine! A great wine! An aged wine, a wine that would take months or years to produce. The wine was already there, but Jesus's word, the obedience, and the action of the servants produced the manifestation of the wine!
Every miracle cited in the Word follows the same pattern.
Faith produces a conviction, which produces an action, which produces a manifestation.
Nothing is impossible to God! But we need to cooperate with His word, by believing, and obeying by acting on what He has told us to do.
FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF THE PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE. USE THAT ENERGY AND FORCE THAT IS INSIDE OF YOU TO BRING FORTH GOD'S PROMISES.
FAITH WITHOUT ACTION IS DEAD! IT BEARS NO FRUITS!
James 2:18-24
But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works, faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
